Another item from Country Artifacts, Great Northern Liquidation, Springfield, Vermont.
Vintage WUEST 7 x 50 Binoculars in Case, 7.1 Degrees Coated Optics Japan KM No.71809
This old pair of binoculars were found in the attic of an old Vermont estate.
Research suggests they are from the 1950's to 1960's Japan, possibly made by Ofuna, but I'll leave that up to your judgement.  They are marked Made in Japan KM on the hinge.
They seem to adjust OK and the optics seem to be reasonably clear, but I would always suggest cleaning and possibly relubricating the moving parts for top functionality.
There are some scuffs, nicks and bumps to the binoculars from previous use as shown.  The leather strap seems to be in good condition.  The lens caps are old light weight plastic, and one has an edge crack, but they seem to be working OK.  The case is very worn and has what looks like a bullet hole in the front (maybe not that, but it's definitely a hole.  Please see the pictures for details.
