I have actively collected stamps and related philatelic materials since 1977.
I fondly remember going with my uncle in the 1970s to the Rexall Drugstore where the Postmaster would show me many current and older issues in the little Post Office (the “Stamp Cage”) adjacent to the pharmacy counter while my uncle talked with his friend the pharmacist.
My purchase was usually US$ 1 to US$ 5 and my uncle would always pay!
I cherish those memories.
