Star Trek Plate-Devil in the Dark-The 20th Anniversary Collection-Ernst-1986/87

Description

Offered is a like new Ernst Collector Plate from The 20th Anniversary Commemorative Collection entitled "Devil in the Dark" based on the that episode of the original Star Trek TV series. The plate features Mr. Spock using the Vulcan mind meld on an unknown "enemy" only to discover it is a mother protecting its babies. The artwork was done by Susie Morton and it has 23 karat gold on the trim. The plate is numbered 1035T on the back. This means it was done on the twentieth of the ninety days these plates were produced and that it was the 1035th plate produced that day. It's about 8 and 1/4 inches across and, while there's no Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or box, it's in like new condition with great graphics of a neat episode.

However, in 2020 the USPS added an extra fee for any package bigger than 12x12x12 inches so it's often more cost effective to keep the items in separate boxes to avoid the oversized box cost. If an oversized box is needed for any package, FedEx is often the most cost effective way to send it and I'll use them instead if that's the case.
